Aangepast door Hayao Miyazaki uit het kinderboek van Eiko Kadono, is Kiki's Delivery Service een magische parabel die zowel meisjes als jongens zal vermaken. Het volgt de leuke escapades en nieuwe vriendschappen van een jonge heks in opleiding, Kiki, die haar familie in de nacht van een volle maan moet verlaten om haar vak te leren.
Met haar praatgrage zwarte kat Jiji vliegt ze weg om met haar magische krachten de perfecte plek te vinden in een verre stad waar ze een heel jaar moet leven. Maar Kiki is slecht met drankjes en tweederangs in spreuken. Ze raakt bevriend met een bakker en in plaats daarvan zet Kiki een koeriersdienst op, waarbij ze haar bezemsteel gebruikt om alles te bezorgen, van taarten tot huisdieren.
In het begin, met alleen haar sarcastische kat als gezelschap, ontdekt ze al snel dat ze meer vrienden heeft dan ze ooit voor mogelijk had gehouden.

Since 1st July 2021, all goods imported into the EU with a value of up to €150 are subject to VAT. No additional VAT fees should be paid for the delivery of parcels in Europe under €150.
