When the Earl and his inventor friend Ruth host a Technology Fair at the castle, amazing new inventions arrive on Sodor, including Kenji – a cutting-edge electric engine said to be the fastest in the world! As Thomas begins to worry about how technology might impact his future, two sneaky thieves and their engine, Sonny, plot to steal one of the marvellous inventions for their own gain. Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
