Vinyl LP persen. Silent Alarm is het debuutstudioalbum van de Britse indierockband Bloc Party. Opgenomen in Kopenhagen en Londen medio 2004 met producer Paul Epworth, werd het in februari 2005 uitgebracht op Wichita Recordings. Het record piekte op nummer 3 op de Verenigd Koninkrijk Albums Chart. Silent Alarm ging verder met een wereldwijde verkoop van meer dan een miljoen exemplaren. Bloc Party wilde een album maken dat aanhangers van verschillende muziekgenres zou aanspreken. Voortbouwend op de arrangementen in hun demosongs opgenomen in 2004, vormden de bandleden tracks grotendeels door middel van live opnames tijdens de Silent Alarm studiosessies. De compositorische focus lag op ritme en de drum-'n-bass-partijen, terwijl tekstschrijver Kele Okereke de gevoelens en hoop van jonge volwassenen onderzocht, inclusief opvattingen over de wereldpolitiek.

The Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) is an electronic portal that businesses can use to comply with their VAT obligations on distance sales of imported goods. Since 1st July 2021, all goods imported into the EU with a value of up to €150 are subject to VAT. No additional VAT fees should be paid for the delivery of parcels in Europe under €150.
