Harvested in the morning and carefully sorted, the grapes undergo light pressing and precise temperature control throughout vinification to ensure optimal quality. Château d’Esclans, located near the Gorges de Pennafort northwest of Frejus on the Mediterranean coast, has a storied history dating back to Gallic times. Acquired in 2006 by Sacha Lichine, the estate has earned acclaim as Wine Enthusiast's European Winery of the Year in 2014.
