Description

Vivian Stanshall’s Rawlinson’s End is a surreal comic album for fans of eccentric British comedy and the Sir Henry saga. This one-disc CD brings together material from three of the saga’s final episodes, broadcast on the BBC’s John Peel show.

Stanshall’s intended final album was reconstructed from tapes in his archive by performance artist Michael Livesley, in collaboration with the Stanshall Family. It completes his vision for the world of Sir Henry, Old Scrotum, Mrs E and the other bizarre characters of Rawlinson’s End.
