The Mad Max Anthology brings together all four films from George Miller's iconic post-apocalyptic franchise, spanning nearly four decades of high-octane action and visionary world-building. Begin with the film that started it all: Mad Max (1979), where Mel Gibson stars as Max Rockatansky, a lone cop pushed to the edge by a gang of violent outlaws in a collapsing society. The Road Warrior (1981) follows as Max becomes a reluctant hero defending a fuel depot from marauding warriors in a desolate wasteland. In Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985), Max returns to a fractured civilization ruled by Aunty Entity (Tina Turner), where he becomes a mythic figure for a tribe of lost children. Finally, Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) redefines action cinema as Max (Tom Hardy) joins forces with Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) in a relentless chase across the desert against a tyrannical warlord.
