Die russische Mafia dringt in sein Revier in Berlin ein und Reeves braucht jemanden, der keinerlei Verbindung zu kriminellen Kreisen hat, um einen brutalen Moskauer Gangsterboss zu ermorden. Ripley weigert sich, den Job selbst zu übernehmen, schlägt aber einen idealen Kandidaten vor: einen sterbenden Mann, der wenig zu verlieren hat und dringend die finanzielle Sicherheit seiner Frau Sarah (Lena Headley) und seines kleinen Sohnes gewährleisten muss
