Artsick wurde im Juni 2018 gegründet, als Christina Riley „kunstkrank“ war und Songs schrieb, ihr aber die Inspiration und Aufregung der Zusammenarbeit mit ihrer alten Band Burnt Palms fehlte. Zu Christina gesellten sich bald Mario Hernandez (Kids On A Crime Spree, Ciao Bella) am Schlagzeug und Donna McKean (Lunchbox, Hard Left) am Bass und eine Band war geboren.
