Stealing Sheep beschreiben Big Wows als „einen langsamen Ansturm“; Sie nahmen über einen Zeitraum von fast drei Jahren Gestalt an, in denen sie genau das ausarbeiteten, was sie wollten, und ein Album schufen, das ihre Identitäten als Individuen zum Vorschein brachte und sie zu einer Einheit verschmolz. „Jeder von uns findet seine eigene kreative Intuition“, sagt er Bex „...und dann kommen wir zusammen...und unterstützen uns gegenseitig“, fügt Lucy hinzu. Wie der Titel vermuten lässt, ist „Big Wows“ sowohl zynisch als auch optimistisch: Verträumtheit und Pop-Dance-Rhythmen werden durchbrochen, mit augenrollenden Gesangsstilen, die durch tief empfundene lyrische Botschaften untermalt werden Mancher Teil der Musik hat einen sarkastischen Ton, aber es gibt immer einen starken Willen, ehrliche Integrität einzubeziehen, was schwierig ist, aber erfrischend, wenn es endlich herauskommt.
