Doch kein Grab kann die bösen Mächte Angmars beherbergen, die an wilden und uralten Orten lauern und die tapferen Dúnedain-Waldläufer in ihrer Pflicht, das Land zu schützen, weit überfordern.
In der Angmar Awakened-Kampagnenerweiterung verbünden sich ein bis vier Spieler mit den Dúnedain, um Eriador zu verteidigen und die Quelle des Bösen zu untersuchen, das das Land heimsucht. In neun Szenarien, die im Laufe einer aufeinanderfolgenden Kampagne spielbar sind, müssen sie sich Orks, Trollen, Geistern und einem gerissenen Bösewicht stellen, der dunkle Zauberei beherrscht.
Diese Erweiterung enthält alle Szenarien aus „The Lost Realm“ und dem ursprünglichen Angmar Awakened-Zyklus, jetzt neu verpackt in einer Box, zusammen mit völlig neuen Kampagneninhalten.
