The album features the #1 hit title track "Ya Ya" and other joyful R&B cuts like "Eenie Meenie Mini Mo," "Yum Yum," "Chin Chin," and "Give Me You." Showcasing Dorsey's sly, playful, and demonstrative vocals, the record is backed by saxophonist Harold Battiste and some of New Orleans' finest session musicians, including Alvin Red Tyler, Roy Montrell, and John Boudreaux.
