PENTAGRAM – PREISGEKRÖNTER BAND-DOKUMENTARFILM „LAST DAYS HERE“ AUF DVD VERÖFFENTLICHT
Gegründet in den frühen 1970er Jahren, hat sich Pentagram durch vier Jahrzehnte voller Widrigkeiten und Triumphe zu einem legendären internationalen Act entwickelt und seinen Namen fest in den Heavy-Metal-Geschichtsbüchern verankert. Für 2015 sind Tourneen durch Nordamerika und Europa geplant, um ihr neuestes, elektrisierendes Album zu promoten Heavy Metal, „Curious Volume“, das am 28. August auf Peaceville veröffentlicht wurde.
Obwohl Pentagram schon immer ein Kult-Act mit einer starken und engagierten weltweiten Fangemeinde war, erfreute sich Pentagram in jüngster Zeit eines sprunghaften Anstiegs des Interesses, was zum Teil auf den völlig unerwarteten Dokumentarfilm „Last Days Here“ aus dem Jahr 2011 zurückzuführen ist.
Der Dokumentarfilm folgt dem Leben, den Sorgen und Nöten von Bobby Liebling und gibt einen Einblick in die Turbulenzen einer unruhigen Rockpersönlichkeit in dieser abendfüllenden Produktion, wobei diese DVD-Ausgabe zusätzliche gelöschte Szenen enthält.
Der Film hat bisher internationale Anerkennung gefunden; Er reiste auf weltweiten Filmfestivals, wo er mehrere Auszeichnungen gewann, darunter „Bester Musikdokumentarfilm“ beim Internationalen Dokumentarfilmfestival in Amsterdam sowie eine Vielzahl anderer Auszeichnungen.
