Sur une petite île exotique, Tuesday, un perroquet extraverti vit avec ses amis animaux insolites au paradis. Cependant, mardi ne peut s'empêcher de rêver de découvrir le monde. Après un violent orage, Tuesday et ses amis se réveillent pour trouver une étrange créature sur la plage : Robinson Crusoé.
Mardi considère immédiatement Crusoe comme son billet pour quitter l'île pour explorer de nouvelles terres. De même, Crusoe se rend vite compte que la clé pour survivre sur l'île passe par l'aide de Tuesday et des autres animaux. Ce n'est pas toujours facile au début, car les animaux ne parlent pas "humain". Lentement mais sûrement, ils commencent tous à vivre ensemble en harmonie, jusqu'au jour où leur vie confortable est bouleversée par deux chats sauvages, qui souhaitent prendre le contrôle de l'île. Une bataille s'ensuit entre les chats et le groupe d'amis mais Crusoe et les animaux découvrent bientôt le vrai pouvoir de l'amitié contre vents et marées (même les chats sauvages).
