In diesem schnellen und unterhaltsamen Familienspiel sammeln 2–5 Spieler Essenskarten, klobige Gänse aus Pappe und suchen nach wertvollen goldenen Eiern. Goose on the Loose ist ein einfaches Spiel, das jüngeren Spielern hilft, strategische Spiele kennenzulernen. Es ist kaum auf Glück angewiesen und soll auch Erwachsenen Spaß machen!
Wer an der Reihe ist, kann entweder Futter sammeln oder eine Gans füttern. Jede der 8 verschiedenen Gänserassen hat eine spezifische Ernährung und daher müssen die richtigen Futterkarten verwendet werden, um sie in Anspruch zu nehmen. Das Füttern einer Gans belohnt den Spieler mit einem Ei (jeweils 1 Punkt wert) und einem Bonusei für jede Gans derselben Rasse, die sich bereits in der Sammlung des Spielers befindet. Die Gänse unten im Stapel verbergen goldene Eier, die 1-3 Punkte wert sind. Der Spieler mit den meisten Punkten gewinnt.
