El juego está basado en el juego de mesa original de Kenner lanzado en 1977 e incluye una figura de acción exclusiva de la Colección retro del Gran Moff Tarkin. Los fans pueden revivir los momentos originales de Star Wars mientras ayudan a sus personajes favoritos a escapar del compactador de basura de la Estrella de la Muerte y se abren camino hasta la base rebelde.
Los jugadores tienen el reto de ayudar a Luke Skywalker, la Princesa Leia, Han Solo y Chewbacca a escapar hacia la libertad. La ruleta hace girar los movimientos de los jugadores, pero estos deben decidir qué pasajes seguir.
