Walter Goodfellow (Rowan Atkinson), the well-meaning vicar of the parish of Little Wallop, is so obsessed with writing the perfect sermon that he remains oblivious to his wife Gloria's (Kristin Scott Thomas) affair with her brash golf instructor Lance (Patrick Swayze). He also fails to notice his daughter Holly's ever-changing string of boyfriends and his young son Petey being tormented by school bullies. Its a good item
Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
