The debut studio album by the American rock band Evanescence, originally released in March 2003. Recorded between August and December 2002 at Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood, California, and mixed in North Hollywood, this landmark album blends gothic rock, alternative metal, and symphonic elements. It features the hit singles "Bring Me to Life", "Going Under", "My Immortal", and "Everybody's Fool", and remains a defining release in early 2000s rock. This is the only Evanescence album to feature guitarist Ben Moody, who departed the band later in 2003.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
