To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Starsailor present their first official live album, 'Starsailor with Strings – Live from Liverpool', a powerful testament to their enduring legacy of emotionally charged songwriting and dynamic performances. Recorded at Liverpool’s acclaimed Tung Auditorium, this special concert features the band’s original lineup—James Walsh, James Stelfox, Ben Byrne, and Barry Westhead—joined by string ensemble and additional guitars from Tony Foster (Spiritualized). Conducted by Joe Duddell, known for his work with New Order, Elbow, and Richard Hawley, the performance reimagines fan favorites with lush, orchestral arrangements.
Album Information:Since their 2000 debut, Starsailor have released six Top 40 studio albums, including the million-selling 'Love Is Here', which reached #2 in the UK charts. They earned the 'Brightest New Hope' award at the NME Awards, were nominated for BRIT Awards, and won Best New Act at the Q Awards. Known for their intense live shows and introspective lyrics, the band continues to resonate with fans across generations.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
