'Talkin To The Trees' is the debut full-length album from Neil Young And The Chrome Hearts, a personal and powerful collection featuring ten new compositions by Young. The album showcases a rich blend of country rock and introspective songwriting, highlighted by the lead single 'Big Change', released in January 2025, which boldly reflects Young's stance in challenging times. Recorded at Shangri La Studios in Malibu and co-produced by Lou Adler and Neil Young, the album features a talented ensemble known as The Chrome Hearts: Spooner Oldham on organ, Micah Nelson on guitar and vocals, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, Anthony LoGerfo on drums, with Neil Young contributing guitar, harp, piano, and vibes.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
