Toula Portokalos (Nia Vardalos) is an unmarried thirty-year-old who lives in Chicago and works in her father's Greek restaurant. When she meets and falls for high school teacher Ian Miller (John Corbett), a quick makeover and some careful manoeuvring is all it takes for the pair to start dating. Its a good item
Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
