A sponge is a useful thing to keep handy when decorating and especially when wallpapering. This trade quality sponge is made from 100% natural cellulose which is both more durable and more absorbent than foam sponges, holding up to 20 times its own weight in water.
It is ideal for washing down surfaces to remove loose dirt and debris, tile grouting, caulking, sugar or detergent soaping of wallpaper prior to removal, applying wallpaper, removing excess paste and can also be used with decorative glazes to create special effects.
Cellulose sponges are also ideal for a wide variety of general cleaning tasks: the soft natural cellulose won't mark or damage delicate or high sheen surfaces such as furniture or vehicle bodywork, wiping them clean for a pristine finish.
