Description
MAGDALENE is the second album by FKA twigs, following her debut LP1. This one-disc black import is for listeners looking for her genre-spanning pop music.
Produced by FKA twigs, the album was recorded in London, New York and Los Angeles over three years, with major contributions from Nicolas Jaar and other collaborators. It follows LP1, which was nominated for a Brit Award and the Mercury Prize.
Created during a period of personal and physical change, MAGDALENE explores emotional and physical reconfiguration. The album includes ‘Mary Magdalene’, which opened FKA twigs’ live shows earlier that year.
