Cool Runnings [DVD]

Based on an improbable but true story, Cool Runnings chronicles the journey of the first Jamaican bobsled team as they compete in the 1988 Winter Olympics. Directed by Jon Turteltaub, the film balances the inherent absurdity of athletes who had never seen snow with the genuine passion behind their desire to compete and win. John Candy delivers a touching performance in one of his final roles as a disgraced coach seeking redemption by leading the Jamaican team.
