Alexis Strum - Addicted [Audio CD]

Alexis Strum - Addicted (Audio CD)

Singer-songwriter and cult pop artist Alexis Strum finally unleashes her long-lost debut album, Addicted, on CD. This sparkling time capsule of early noughties electropop features collaborations with renowned producers like Xenomania (Girls Aloud, Sophie Ellis-Bextor), Richard X (Kelis, Annie), and Joel Edwards of Deepest Blue. The record is bold, sexy, and delivers an exhilarating rush of vibrant synths and killer pop hooks.

Album Background

Originally recorded in 2002 while Alexis was signed to Warner Music, the collection was shelved due to label disputes. The powerful songwriting resonated elsewhere, however, with Kylie Minogue recording 'Still Standing' for Body Language and Rachel Stevens including the electro ballad 'Nothing Good About This Goodbye' on her sophomore record. Now, over two decades later, Addicted is available via indie label Back on Wax, including exclusive, never-before-released bonus tracks from the vaults.
