Description
Telescreens’ Why The Lights Flicker is a two-disc Black/White Vinyl album for listeners drawn to guitar-led rock. Recorded live together in Brooklyn, it captures the energy of the band playing as a four-piece.
The album pairs heavy guitar anthems and cathartic choruses with more vulnerable ballads, bringing classic rock power together with a modern sound. Its themes include spiritual disconnection, isolation and the search for clarity amid chaos.
“Nothing” sets apathetic lyrics against massive riffs and pounding drums, while songs such as “Preacher” and “Angel Dying” feature across the album. Telescreens describe the record as their magnum opus, following their debut The Return and 2024 LP 7.
