Description
True Romance is the original motion picture score composed and conducted by Hans Zimmer. This two-LP release presents the score to Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic, recorded with nine musicians after budget constraints ruled out a full orchestral recording.
Percussion, xylophones and marimbas give the music an innocent quality set against the story’s violent backdrop. The score is one of Zimmer’s most recognisable works; his film scores also include Gladiator, The Lion King, The Dark Knight Trilogy and Pirates of the Caribbean.
