Description
Psychedelic Shack is a 1970 album by The Temptations, presented here on Compact Disc. It’s for listeners drawn to the group’s adventurous blend of soul, funk, psychedelic rock and Motown grooves.
Produced by Norman Whitfield, the album pairs layered vocals and swirling effects with socially conscious lyrics. Its experimental sound marked a bold turn in The Temptations’ music.
Standout songs include “Psychedelic Shack” and “Hum Along and Dance”. The album also features “War”, “Friendship Train” and “You Need Love Like I Do (Don’t You)”.
