Description

Nonsuch is XTC’s 1992 album, presented here on a 200 gram vinyl edition for listeners exploring the band’s acclaimed later work. This two-disc release features a remaster by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering, made with input from Andy Partridge and approved by XTC.

XTC built on their early punk-era beginnings with increasingly sophisticated yet accessible pop songwriting. Nonsuch reached No. 28 in the UK and was nominated for a Grammy in the Alternative Albums category in 1992.

Standout songs include ‘The Disappointed’, ‘The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead’ and ‘Wrapped in Grey’.
