Andy Crofts - Melody Boy [Vinyl]

Melody Boy is the debut solo album from Andy Crofts, songwriter and musician known for his previous work with Paul Weller and The Moons. Written and recorded in a tiny beach hut studio on the English coast, it puts melody and songwriting craft first.

The album pairs hook-laden songs and rich harmonies with warmth, analogue textures and a timeless feel. Its sound draws on classic songwriting while retaining a clear identity of its own.

Lead single “Blue” introduces the album’s reflective, quietly anthemic character. The songs unfold gradually, rewarding repeat listens with emotional directness and a sense of mystery.
