Caleb Caudle - Heavy Thrill [VINYL]

Caleb Caudle delivers his pivotal new album, Heavy Thrill, on vinyl, marking a significant convergence of his personal evolution and artistic journey. Shaped by endurance and momentum, Caudle steps into a new chapter, self-producing for the first time while recording at the storied Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This record embraces the patina of life, reflecting on weathering storms and making the most of what is given.

Artistic Vision and Production

For Heavy Thrill, Caudle took full creative control, blending the rich country traditions he grew up with in the North Carolina foothills with the indie music influences from his radio listening. The album reflects his steadfast ascent, guided by experience rather than spectacle, capturing a sound deeply rooted in his origins while looking forward.

New Beginnings and Label Launch

This album coincides with Caudle launching his own label, Handplow Records, named for a rusty red steel handplow used for generations of tobacco farming by his family. This symbol represents the toil and dedication required to do things the hard way, mirroring the steady work ethic applied to his music career.
