Description
Harvest Time is the 1972 debut album by Finnish band Elonkorjuu, presented here on CD. It suits listeners drawn to early heavy progressive rock, psychedelic rock and blues, with vocals sung in English.
Recorded almost entirely live, the album combines heavy guitar and soulful church organ with a progressive, free-jam approach influenced by Cream, Free, Sabbath and Colosseum. Elonkorjuu developed the heavy blues and psych-rock style into a sound of their own.
A sought-after title among Finnish rock collectors, Harvest Time is regarded as a significant early heavy progressive rock album and a hidden gem for Scandinavian prog fans.
