About Us

We’re Gibsons, the family-owned jigsaw puzzle and board game company. Founded in London in 1919, we’ve been entertaining generations for over 100 years and our passion is creating the best quality products for all ages.

Made in the UK and Europe, we use the thickest board on the market for our jigsaw puzzles and work with a whole host of talented artists to bring you fresh cool designs, from nostalgic scenes to mesmerising prints. What’s more, our jigsaw puzzles are planet-friendly. They’re made from 100% recycled board and secured with tabs rather than shrink-wrap to reduce single-use plastic waste.

Our board games are great fun for the whole family. From quick-play games like Mind the Gap to family and strategy games like Hare & Tortoise, 221b Baker Street and Civilization, our best-selling board games will keep all ages entertained!

It is an honour and a privilege to continue what my great grandfather started back in 1919.

Working at Gibsons means being open to adapting and learning new things wherever we can, ensuring that we move forward and get better at what we do. Games, puzzles, people and play just about sums up what we do here, but the most important of these is people.

Throughout over our 100 years history, strong values have always been at the heart of our identity as a company. From its inception, Gibsons has been committed to providing joy to families and communities through ethical and responsible business practices. Striving for B Corp certification just felt like the next natural step!

However, given the journey to actually get here achieving the certification feels like metaphorical icing on the cake. In the past few years B Lab have helped us to drive change across our whole business, including five crucial areas; Governance, Workers, Community, Customers and the Environment.
