Description
This 12-inch vinyl LP features John Coltrane’s Giant Steps, for listeners exploring his work as a jazz bandleader. It contains one disc.
Coltrane’s debut on Atlantic marked a departure from the albums he had made as a leader for Prestige. The album confirmed his importance in the jazz scene and was a step towards leaving Miles Davis’s group to form his own quartet.
