The Menzingers - Everything I Ever Saw [audioCD]

The Menzingers, the celebrated Philadelphia punk legends, enter a new phase with their eighth album, Everything I Ever Saw. This record chronicles significant personal, political, and universal changes while reaffirming the core creative principles that established them globally. After twenty years, the band embraces the present moment, showcasing wisdom gained over time and strengthening the enduring bonds within the quartet.

Creative Process and Collaboration

The Menzingers—vocalist/guitarist Greg Barnett, vocalist/guitarist Tom May, bassist Eric Keen, and drummer Joe Godino—crafted this album in intense creative symbiosis. Barnett noted that the process mirrored their early days, with May and himself bringing basic song elements for the four members to shape. A key element in shaping the album's sound was working once again with production legend Will Yip, who previously collaborated on After the Party (2017) and Hello Exile (2019). Yip helped craft these 11 songs in their South Philly space, fostering an environment described by May as a "homecoming" due to their long-standing friendship and professional relationship.
