TYGERS OF PAN TANG - Electrifyed [CD]

Mighty Music proudly presents "Electrifyed," the highly anticipated new studio album from NWOBHM legends TYGERS OF PAN TANG. This release marks a powerful return to a heavier, more aggressive sound, while masterfully preserving the melodic core that has defined the band's illustrious career. Singer Jack Meille describes the writing process as driven by the mantra "The heavier, the better," aiming to recapture the thrill of potent riffs without sacrificing the signature Tygers' melodic touch.

Drawing inspiration from the raw energy of their early years, particularly the seminal debut "Wild Cat," "Electrifyed" showcases the dynamic chemistry of the current lineup. The album is a compelling collection of tracks built on formidable riffs, unforgettable melodies, and a renewed dedication to the heavy metal traditions the band helped forge.

"Electrifyed" also features the debut recording of guitarist John Footitt, whose skills perfectly complement the album's muscular and contemporary sound. He joins founding member Robb Weir, Jack Meille, drummer Craig Ellis, and bassist Huw Holding. The band collaborated closely with producer and musician Marco Angioni to translate their sonic ambitions into a cohesive and impactful final product. The striking album artwork, capturing the album's spirit and energy, was created by Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art.
