Siamese - dissolution [Audio CD]

Siamese - dissolution [Audio CD]

Following their previous releases HOME (2021) and ELEMENTS (2024), Siamese delivers dissolution, an album that marks their most personal statement yet. After achieving over 100 million streams and touring globally alongside major acts like Korn, Corey Taylor, and Dayseeker, this record emerged from a necessary reassessment following the departure of a main songwriter. The result is a heavier, more instinctive, and aggressive sound, reflecting a fundamental shift in the band's dynamic.

Thematic Core and Sound

At the heart of dissolution lies an exploration of a deeply complicated father-son relationship, rooted in childhood experiences with domestic violence. This central conflict informs every other theme on the album, including infidelity, substance use, escapism, and the pressure of time running out. The album confronts the slow erosion of the belief that consequences can be avoided, realizing that everything—memories, illusions of safety, and inherited patterns—eventually dissolves. This comprehensive body of work represents Siamese becoming more of a unified band and less of a songwriting camp.
