The Tubs - Dead Meat [Vinyl]

Dead Meat is the hotly anticipated full-length album from The Tubs, pressed on vinyl. It’s for listeners drawn to post-punk, indie jangle and British folk influences.

Formed in 2018 by former Joanna Gr जոousme members Owen ‘O’ Williams and George ‘GN’ Nicholls, The Tubs blend guitar-led indie with traditional British and Canterbury folk-rock. On Dead Meat, those folk influences move further forward, set against urgent strumming and Williams’ acerbic, dolorous lyrics.

“Round The Bend” and “Duped” pair urgent guitar with sharp lyrics, while “I Don’t Know How It Works”, “Two Person Love” and “Illusion Pt. II” bring a more heightened sense of urgency.
