Description
Brilliant Corners is a reissue of Thelonious Monk’s 1957 jazz album, with one bonus track. It features performances with Sonny Rollins, Clark Terry, Ernie Henry, Oscar Pettiford and Max Roach.
Considered one of Monk’s most revolutionary LPs, the album was praised by critic Nat Hentoff in DownBeat as a significant modern jazz release. Its original review described it as a mood album with an inimitable character.
