Description
A La Francaise is the first collaborative album from Hiba Tawaji and Ibrahim Maalouf, celebrating French repertoire. It brings together classics including “La Boheme”, “La Javanaise” and “Que je t’aime”.
With the French Republican Guard Orchestra and a jazz quintet, the album reimagines these songs through orchestral arrangements, jazz and Eastern influences. Tawaji’s vocals and Maalouf’s arrangements shape an intimate musical dialogue between their artistic worlds.
