Description

Funny Looking Angels is a limited-edition Christmas CD by Tom Smith of Editors and Andy Burrows, formerly of Razorlight and later of I Am Arrows. It brings together original songs and covers shaped by the duo’s shared love of classic Christmas records.

Built around winter imagery, strings, jingle bells and classic-style backing vocals, the album is a festive collaboration rooted in the friendship between the two musicians. It was made as a traditional Christmas record for listening and singing along over the holidays.

Cover versions include Yazoo’s “Only You”, Black’s “Wonderful Life” and The Longpigs’ “On and On”. Agnes Obel joins Tom Smith on the closing version of “The Christmas Song”.
