Description

Tumbling Through The Floativerse is a CD album by Ed Wynne, founding member and leader of Ozric Tentacles, made with Gre Vanderloo of Gracerooms. It brings together psychedelic rock, synth-led soundscapes and electronic experimentation.

Wynne and Vanderloo began working together shortly before the 2020 lockdown, developing musical ideas into what they called “The Floativerse” — a place to escape gravity for a moment. The album reflects Wynne’s experience weaving together acid rock, dub, reggae, world music, electronic sounds and jazz experimentation with Ozric Tentacles.

Recorded at Blue Bubble Studios, the album features Gracerooms bassist Paul Klaessen and long-term Ozric Tentacles synth player Silas Neptune. Ed Wynne engineered and produced the recording, with mastering by Adam Goodlet.
