White Wolf - Standing Alone

Discover the debut album 'Standing Alone' from the Canadian rock band White Wolf. Originally formed under different names like Farmer, Slamm, and Warrior, the band evolved into White Wolf before signing with RCA. This 1984 release, produced by Danny Lowe and Jack Richardson, features a collection of strong songs with punchy production that garnered significant airplay across Canada and in select US cities including Cleveland, Philadelphia, and New York.

Despite facing challenges such as visa issues that impacted early US tour plans, White Wolf eventually performed in the US, including dates with Angel City. 'Standing Alone' sold well by contemporary standards, and with its compelling tracks and energetic sound, it laid the groundwork for their follow-up album, 'Endangered Species'. This album is a testament to a band that delivered a bright, impactful sound deserving of greater recognition.
