Authentically crafted in Modena, Italy, this Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI is produced using time-honored methods with a minimum of 10% wine vinegar and a high percentage of concentrated grape must from select grape varieties including Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Albana, Ancellotta, Fortana, and Montuni. Aged for at least 10 years in traditional wooden barrels, it achieves a rich, velvety smooth texture and a well-balanced sweet and sour taste with subtle woody notes and a lingering lightly acidic aroma.

Boasting a density of 1.33—well above the 1.24 minimum required for PGI certification—and an acidity level of 6%, this balsamic vinegar meets the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Its deep, dark-brown hue and viscous consistency make it ideal for enhancing salads, marinades, and gourmet dishes.
