Description

NOW Music brings together various artists on a four-disc collection of extended, full-length and remixed 12-inch versions from 1985. It’s for listeners exploring the decade’s pop and dance music, with 46 tracks spanning club anthems, synth-pop and rock-pop hits.

The collection captures the varied sounds of 1985, from Queen’s ‘One Vision’ and Simple Minds’ ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ to Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome’ and A-ha’s ‘Take On Me’.

Dancefloor favourites include Dead Or Alive’s ‘You Spin Me Round’ and Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Holding Out For A Hero’. The four discs also feature Tears For Fears’ ‘Shout’, New Order’s ‘The Perfect Kiss’ and Red Box’s ‘Lean On Me (Ah-Li-Ayo)’.
