Description

Charles Mingus’s Mingus Ah Um is a remastered vinyl edition for listeners exploring his influential jazz. Pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl, it contains the full-length versions of all nine songs.

Mingus was a bassist and bandleader whose music combined hard bop, blues and avant-garde jazz. His creative work from the 1950s to the 1970s made him one of the era’s most multifaceted jazz artists.

Originally released in 1959, Mingus Ah Um is considered a jazz classic. This edition presents the album as Mingus intended, with remastered sound.
