Basement - Colourmeinkindness [Vinyl]

Basement - Colourmeinkindness [Vinyl]

Originally released as the swansong album preceding Basement's first hiatus, 'Colourmeinkindness' stands as a landmark release that solidified the band's reputation as exceptional songwriters within the burgeoning 2010s rock scene. Following their 2011 debut LP 'I Wish I Could Stay Here', 'Colourmeinkindness' showcases a distinct maturity from its opening discordant notes. The album opener, 'Whole', has been a staple in Basement's live sets worldwide for a decade, consistently igniting audiences.

'Colourmeinkindness' is celebrated for its diverse sonic palette, featuring melodic singalongs like 'Covet' and 'Bad Apple', emo-inspired interludes such as 'Breathe' and 'Comfort', and powerful riffs on 'Spoiled' and the closing track 'Wish'. This classic album offers a rich listening experience that continues to resonate years after its release.
