Temples - BLISS [CD]

Temples delivers their fifth album, BLISS, a record that boldly ventures into electronic territory while remaining anchored to the core DNA that defines the Kettering-formed four-piece. This album shakes up perceptions by blending euphoric and melancholic melodies reminiscent of late '90s dance music with their signature psych-tinged riffs and loops, resulting in something entirely fresh.

For Temples, BLISS represents a moment of creative freedom and a shared sense of joy in music creation. The band aimed to create exactly what they wanted, resulting in an unmistakably Temples sound that looks forward while respecting its roots. As Bagshaw states, this album is their definitive statement: 'People should throw out whatever they thought we were – this is what we are.'
