Furnace is an engaging engine-building Eurogame where 2 to 4 players take on the roles of 19th-century capitalists. Your goal is to build an industrial corporation, maximize profits by strategically purchasing companies, extracting resources, and processing them through efficient combinations over four intense rounds.

The game unfolds over four rounds, each split into an Auction Phase and a Production Phase. In the Auction Phase, players use four colored discs (valued 1-4) to bid on company cards. Placement rules prevent discs of the same value or color from being placed on the same card. Cards are resolved based on the highest disc value, with lower-valued bidders receiving compensation (resources or processing abilities) multiplied by their disc value.

The Production Phase allows players to use their claimed company cards once each to gain resources, process resources into money or other resources, or upgrade their cards. The player accumulating the most money after four rounds wins.
