Deep Purple - SPLAT! [2LP Vinyl]

Deep Purple returns with SPLAT!, an album marking their reunion with legendary producer Bob Ezrin. This release captures the band's classic sound while forging new ground, avoiding mere nostalgia. Musically, this is highlighted as one of the hardest and heaviest Deep Purple albums in recent memory, recorded in the true hard rock tradition with the band performing together in the studio.

The conceptual core of the record stems from an idea by Ian Gillan, exploring themes surrounding the end of humanity, or perhaps Deep Purple itself, framed not as a crude apocalypse but as a metamorphosis beyond physical existence.
