Experience Morketid, the second studio album from the Norwegian extreme metal pioneers, Mortem. Featuring members associated with legendary acts like Arcturus, Thorns, Mayhem, and 1349, this release marks a significant progression from their 2019 debut, Ravnsvart.

This album delivers eight tracks of savage, eerie, and epic Black Metal. Mortem expands upon the spirit and brutality of their origins, presenting an opus characterized by brooding mid-paced monumental riffs interspersed with periods of hyperspeed black metal.

Mortem was originally one of the first black metal bands to emerge from Norway in 1989, preceding Arcturus. Their early work included the highly coveted 'Slow Death' demo, which featured production/cover art contributions from Euronymous and Dead of Mayhem, and session drums by Hellhammer. After that initial period, members moved on to form or feature in acclaimed bands such as Arcturus and Thorns.

This edition of Morketid is presented on CD format and includes a 12-page booklet.
